Soft hearted, sweet spoken, famous shooter late Prabhsimran SIngh (Nannu) Sidhu were passed away from this world at the early age of 22 & in remembrance of his motivations, the trust i.e. late Prabhsimran Singh (Nannu) Sidhu memorial trust, in collaboration with Emerging India welfare association, Ambreen infratech private limited, Punjabi culture & welfare society (Regd.) Sr. Sukhdev Singh Gill memorial welfare club (Regd.) has organised a huge blood donation camp at Gurdwara Sachadhan sahib Phase 3B1. In this camp doctors from PGI &Govt. Medical College & Hospital Sector 32 Chandigarh and Civil Hospital SAS Nagar were collecting the blood units. Nannu sidhu was a great team player & great initiator who were always ahead for the social works.During this, to motivate the donors, elected member of Lak Sabha constituency Anandpur Sahib & General Secretary Siromani Akali Dal Prof. Prem Singh Chandumajra said that Blood donation is a great contribution, as it saves lived. He said that the donated blood always provide a hope for the person fighting in between life & death. It is a ray of hope for many endangered lives. He said that on the 4th anniversary this was 8th blood donation camp. He said that this blood donation camp will be motivating factor for the youths, as such these camps should be organised by other social organisations too. During this, he distributed the appreciation certificates & memento to the blood donors.
During this, Sr. Sher Singh Sidhu PCS (Retd.) father of Nannu Sidhu said that the trust organises such camp after every 4 months & this was 8th camp organised by the trust. Trust has deposited more than 3500 units to the blood bank so far and in today's camp 580 units have been collected. He said that this camp is a great tribute to Nannu Sidhu.During this sh. District Attorney Manjeet Singh, SHO Sohana Satwant Singh & other reputed persons & volunteers were present. Before this, Bhog Shri Akhand Path was done at Gurudwara Sahib Phase 3B1.
