BVG India Limited has provided an inflatable Boat to Doda administration to augment the rescue preparedness and equipment in the district. The rescue operations are often carried out in the district in the Chenab river during road and other accidents for which the Inflatable Boat is the basic requirement.
The inflatable Boat was handed over by Mushtaq Ahmed, State Coordinator BVG India Limited, to Deputy Commissioner Doda Vishesh Paul Mahajan in his office chamber in presence of SSP, Abdul Qayoom, ADDC, Pran Singh, ADC, Dr R K Bharti, ACR, Sanjeev Kumar, CMO, Dr Yaqoob Mir, President Chenab Rescuers (NGO) Mushtaq Sheikh and others, the other Day.
The BVG India Limited has deployed 10 ambulances in district Doda, out of which 7 ambulances are equipped with advanced life support equipment and 3 are having the basic life support system.
Since launch, 6430 patients have been served, and 64 successful deliveries were conducted inside ambulances by 108 Emergency Medical technicians.
The Deputy Commissioner Doda expressed his gratitude to the BVG India Ltd and Administrative Secretary Health & ME, Bhupinder Kumar, whose kind concern for the district has enabled the district administration to provide better health care services to the public.
