The Additional District Development Commissioner (ADDC) Kulgam, Showkat Ahmad Rather today chaired a meeting of officers to review the progress made in development of Model Tribal Cluster Village (MTCV), Nagras.

During the meeting, the ADDC took stock of works under Education, Health, PHE, Youth Services and Sports and reviewed the status of implementation of various schemes by Animal Husbandry, Sheep and other departments in MTCV Nagras and heads of departments briefed the chair about the progress made on work projects and implementation of various schemes.

During the meeting, the chair was informed that land for construction of the sub-centre building has been identified and work will be started soon. The MTCVs are being developed to provide amenities and promote education, health, skill development, horticulture, agriculture, tourism in the area with ST population so that they can have better basic amenities.

The meeting was attended by JD-Planning Zahid Sajad, Officers from Education, Animal Husbandry, Youth Services & Sports, Sheep Husbandry, Health, Handicraft, Jal Shakti and other departments.
