To create momentum and enhance the pace of enrollment in the district, a SVEEP camp was today organized by the Dy. District Election Officer at Block HQ Kaprin of Shopian.
The camp was chaired by the Dy. District Election Officer and attended by Block Development Officer, Election Naib Tehsildar, EROs Operators, PEBOs and local residents. During the camp, the officers shared the detailed schedule of the revision timelines and its important ways and means for enrollment.
The detailed description of the different prescribed forms 2A, 2B, 2C, 2D was also shared with the audience through demonstration. The same forms were also circulated among the participants.
During the camp the problems faced by the PEBO’s were attended to and redressed on spot. The assembly BLOs and PEBOs were directed to work in close coordination and follow the timeline of the revision in letter and spirit.
A short training session regarding the digitalization was also held with the IT persons of the block office dealing with the process.
