Chairperson, District Development Council, Ramban, Dr. Shamshad Shan today kick-started construction work of a Conference Hall at Panchayat Sangaldan-A taken up at an estimated cost of Rs 12 lakh under CD and Panchayat Fund.
BDO Tanzeel, PRIs, prominent citizens, and locals were also present on the occasion. Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Shan informed that the project will be completed with an estimated cost of Rs. 12 lakh with all facilities for the general public.
He directed the concerned to complete the work in the stipulated time by ensuring quality of construction material. She said that all three tiers of Panchayati Raj System along with the Administration are working to achieve the desired developmental targets to meet basic requirements of the people.
She asked the PRIs to bring public demands and issues in the notice of the administration for their timely redressal. Interacting with the people, the Chairperson informed about the initiatives taken by the District Development Council and other departments especially for the development of the rural and far-flung areas of the district.
