Shemrock Sen. Sec. School, Sector 69 organized Winter Carnival and Christmas celebrations for its tiny tots at its campus. The entire school was adorned with colourful streamers, balloons, brightly decorated Christmas trees, snowmen, Christmas crib and a village scene.
The blooming buds of KG Wing came dressed up in colourful winter clothes as Santa Claus, fairies, flowers and butterflies. The cherubs looked adorable as they flamed up the ramp with their confident walk in the fashion show. The zeal among tiny tots was such that they couldn’t help tapping their feet on the beats of Jingle Bells.
The students learnt vocabulary related to seasonal crops, food items, clothing and festivals especially Christmas. The children relished cakes, dry fruits and delicious winter foods. The participation of the kids in the Christmas Carnival brought a smile and a spark of joy in the eyes of all present.
The activities gave the little ones the joy of celebrating all the festivals with their loved ones.Chairman A S Bajwa M D Karan Bajwa, Principal Parneet Sohal shared that the students left no stone was unturned to sprinkle the magic of their talent and creativity. Their benevolent presence made the occasion vibrant and cheerful.
Chairman A S Bajwa praised and appreciated the efforts of the little ones and the teachers. He expressed her delight on seeing such enthusiasm in the kids who brought the spirit of Chritsmas alive. Principal Parneet Sohal appealed the staff and the students to donate generously to the orphanages, old age homes, special schools etc. and spread happiness. The festival brought tons of joys for all.
