To mark the celebration of the Christmas festival, a Christmas Cake-cutting ceremony was organized by Christian community at Union Church Udhampur. Deputy Commissioner, Krittika Jyotsna was the chief guest who formally cut the cake.
The Deputy Commissioner also interacted with the church management and extended greetings to the people of Christian Community and prayed for peace, progress and prosperity of J&K and the nation.
The DC said that Christmas is a festival of life and celebrates the oneness of humanity irrespective of religion. The Church functionaries appreciated and thanked the DC for her visit.
