Pulwama Gymkhana finally managed to showcase their skills once again as they thrashes Maspuna 11 in final match of the Shahoora T20 Knock-out at Sports Stadium Pulwama.
The Shahoora T20 knock-out cricket tournament was organized by the Bahar-e -Adab Shahoora in Collab with Department of Youth Services and Sports in the Shahoora area of Pulwama district.
The final Match Played today at Sports Stadium Pulwama between Pulwama Gymkhana and Maspuna11 where Gymkhana lifted the title.
The Guest on the Ceremony was Municipal Chairman Pulwama Bilal Ahmed Rather, Youth Services and Sports officer Syed Noor ul Haq, District Nodal Officer Pulwama Dr. Mushtaq Ahmad Dar, Social activist and Sports Promoter Dr. Rauf Rafiq Officer, besides other personalities associated with various groups and concerns, attended the closing ceremony of the final match.
Trophies and prizes were distributed among the winning and runner-up teams, while the teams and players who performed best in the tournament were also awarded with prizes and certificates.
Speaking on the occasion, Chief Guest Bilal Ahmed Rather said that there is no shortage of talent in Pulwama district but there is a need to identify this talent and give it the right direction.
24 teams from Pulwama and Shahoora tehsils participated in the tournament, live broadcast of the matches was telecasted some news portals and social networking sites, a large number of sports fans watched the matches and enjoyed the game.
During Ceremony Many Journalists including young Journalist Mudasir Maqbool were faliciatated and encouraged.The tournament was started on October 25 was inaugurated by the Chairman of the District Development Council Syed Bari Andrabi in the presence of distinguished personalities of the region.
