As part of ongoing Good Governance Week celebrations, the Chief Education Office Baramulla today organized one day orientation programme on Effective Governance of Schools through Complex/ Cluster Management System for Chief Education Officers (CEOs), Principals District Institutes of Education Research and Training (DIET), Cluster Heads and Zonal Education Officers at Dak Bungalow here.
The event titled 'Role and Responsibility in Complex/ Cluster School' was held under the patronship of Director Education Kashmir, Dr Tassaduq Hussain, whereas Joint Director Education Kashmir also participated in the orientation programme as the special guest.
Chief Education Officer Baramulla, all Zonal Education Officers, Principal besides other concerned functionaries of Education Department showed their enthusiastic participation. Speaking on the occasion, Dr Tassaduq Hussain stressed on need for proactive participation of academic counselors in the process of NEP-2020 implementation.
He hoped that every concerned will work with enthusiasm and determination to be exhibited by them during the NEP-2020 implementation.During the programme various resource persons shared their expertise on School leadership also and deliberated on better and tangible result oriented actions and programmes under with special focus to New Education Policy (NEP) 2020.
The Director Education also called for well physical, financial and human resource management for better results from schools. He said that head of the school plays an important role in moving his/her school towards the right direction.
Other functionaries of Education Department also spoke on the occasion and highlighted the promptness of the educational institutions, in taking some robust measures to realise the key objectives of National Education Policy-2020.
