‘Good Governance Week 2022’ : Ramban Administration releases ‘District at a Glance 2021-2022’ handbook

Deputy Commissioner, Mussarat Islam, under the aegis of  Good Governance Week 2022, today released a handbook,  ‘District at a Glance 2021-2022’ that captures the details of key development areas in Ramban district, here at a simple book release function held in his office chamber.

Additional Deputy Commissioner, Harbans Lal Sharma; Chief Planning Officer, Dr.Kasturi Lal; District Statistical & Evaluation Officer, Ganesh Kumar Sharma and Deputy District Election Officer, Lal Chand were also present on the occasion.District Statistics and Evaluation Office is the Nodal Agency for the collection, compilation and dissemination of important statistical data of the district.

After releasing the publications, the DC hailed the efforts of field functionaries in collection of data and stressed the improvement of these publications in the future with regular updates in policy-making coverage.

The Deputy Commissioner said that this handbook will help in providing the updated data of developmental indicators which would assist in policy making, planning, researchers, and also the government to focus on chalking out priority sectors.
