Deputy Commissioner Kathua, Rahul Pandey today convened a meeting of officers at DC Office Complex here to review the functioning of the Power Development Department in the district.On the occasion, the officers apprised DC about the power scenario in the district and gave detailed account of the physical and financial progress achieved under different schemes aimed to augment power availability and distribution across the district.
While reviewing progress of PDD sector schemes under District CAPEX, Languishing, DDC, BDC and PRI grants etc, the DC directed the concerned to maintain timelines to saturate all components besides stressing on early removal of bottlenecks for timely completion of all works.
Underlining the need of achieving financial progress within set timelines, the DC called upon the engineers to speed up the works so as to rule out any chance of carrying forward any financial liabilities.The meeting was attended by CPO, Uttam Singh and Superintending Engineer PDD besides other concerned officers.
