To address the public issues at their doorsteps, the district administration Reasi today organised Mega Block Diwas under Good Governance Week, here at Conference Hall DC Office Reasi.

Deputy Commissioner, Babila Rakwal listened to the public issues and demands.  Directions were passed to the concerned officers for resolving the issues on priority basis. The DC sensitized the people, especially youth about the PMEGP, Tajaswini, PM- SEHAT, e-Shram self employment and other beneficiary oriented schemes on the occasion.

She urged the people to avail the benefit of different schemes launched by the UT as well as Central Government. She said that the District Administration was laying special focus on implementing all beneficiary’ oriented schemes, especially pertaining to youth and farmers.

Later, the DC handed over sanction letters to the beneficiaries of Agriculture sector schemes. A theme based Nukkad Natak on the objectives of Good Governance Week was also presented on the occasion.

As a part of the Good Governance Week, a stall was set by the District Panchayat Election Office in the premises of the DC office where information was given to the general public about the Revision of Panchayat Electoral Rolls 2022 scheduled to be held from December 21 to February 10, 2023.
