In continuation with the celebration of Good Governance Week, Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kupwara, Doifode Sagar Dattatray today visited several areas of Kupwara circle and inspected various Fair Price Shops (Ration Stores) of the Food Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs (FCS&CA) department.
During the visit, the DC inspected ration stores at Batergam, Halamatpora, Shahipora and Salkoote. He took stock of the infrastructure, visibility, stock-supply position and sale proceeds of food grains in these stores.
The DC directed the AD Food to closely monitor the functioning of the ration stores across the district so that people do not face any inconvenience in getting ration supply. Assistant Director FCS&CA Kupwara, Wali Mohammad accompanied the Deputy Commissioner during the visit.
