Punjab Information and Public Relations, New and Renewable Energy Sources and Urban Development and Housing Minister Mr. Aman Arora said that the state government led by Bhagwant Mann was committed to bring revolutionary reforms in the education sector. 

While encouraging the students at Government Senior Secondary Girls School Sunam, the cabinet minister reiterated his commitment to carry out quality-based works for transformation of schools and said that the Punjab government has released funds of Rs. 1.82 crore to strengthen the infrastructure of 30 government schools in Sunam constituency in last eight months.

He said that the main motive of their government was to provide world class education and health facilities in the state.Mr. Aman Arora expressed happiness that the girls were doing their best in every sector. He added that there were innumerable opportunities in life, when children show the strength of their abilities on their own and prove their mettle.

He said that due to the lax attitude of previous governments towards health and education sector, private hospitals and schools mushroomed in the state but now CM Bhagwant Mann was taking due care of development of these sectors.Earlier, Minister Aman Arora laid the foundation stone of a new room at the Government Primary School (Girls). 

He said that the reforms were being introduced in the school education with the visionary leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann. He said that the vision of the Punjab government was to bring the government schools of Punjab to the number one position in the country in all aspects.

On this occasion, he said that the Punjab government has released 60 lakh 8 thousand rupees for building new rooms in 8 primary schools of Sunam constituency, including Government Primary School Shahpur Kalan, Government Primary School Mander Kalan, Government Primary School Sahoke, Government Primary School Sheron, Government Primary School Buggaran, Government Primary School Sunam (Girls), Government Primary School Nagra and Government Primary School, Sanghredi as Rs. 7.51 lakh has been released to each school.

The cabinet minister said that apart from this, 5 lakh 35 thousand rupees have been released for government school Khedi and 5 lakh 35 thousand rupees for the renovation of government school Dayalgarh. The cabinet minister said that apart from this, 9 lakh 65 thousand rupees have also been released for the construction of a library at village Shahoke.
