Commander’s-in-Chief Call on ‘Chief of the Naval Staff’

Vice Admiral Satish Soni, PVSM, AVSM,NM, ADC, Flag Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Eastern Naval Command, Visakhapatnam and Vice Admiral Surinder Pal Singh Cheema PVSM, AVSM, NM, Flag Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Southern Naval Command, Kochi called on Admiral RK Dhowan PVSM AVSM YSM ADC, Chief of the Naval Staff at his office today. Being their first official ‘call-on’ after assuming office, both the Flag officers’ were received at the South Block lawns by Admiral RK Dhowan, Chief of the Naval Staff and were presented a ‘Guard of Honour’. Various issues of ‘operational and administrative’ nature were discussed during the meeting later. It may be recalled that Vice Admiral Satish Soni had taken over the command of Eastern Naval Command on 16 Jun 14 and Vice Admiral Surinder Pal Singh Cheema had taken over the command of Eastern Naval Command on 19 Jun 14.
