Chairperson District Development Council Udhampur Lal Chand today inaugurated the black topping work of road from Supply Morh Kainth Gali KM 9th RD 200 to Pangara Jagir PKG No JK14 284 having length of 3.825 KM.

Chairman Block Development Council Udhampur  Balwan Singh, Sarpanch Panchayat Halqa Mansar Hans Raj, PRI members and local habitants were also present. The blacktopping work is to be executed under Renewal coat by PMGSY Division Udhampur. 

Chairperson BDC Udhampur Balwan Singh, congratulated the public of the area for fulfillment of their long pending demand. He also thanked District Development Council Udhampur and  praised the Chairperson DDC Udhampur for providing support, cooperation and guidance to initiate and carry forward the developmental activities in the Block Udhampur.

Speaking on the occasion, Chairperson DDC congratulated the public and hoped that the construction of this road shall open new opportunities for the local populace. He further said removal of Article 370 and 35A have paved the way for massive development of J&K and the UT is moving towards a new era of development.

The District Development Council Udhampur was praised by the locals for the developmental initiatives carried out in the District Udhampur. They also praised and thanked the PMGSY Department for the protection works and also for the on-going black topping work.
