Chairperson District Development Council Udhampur, Lal Chand today convened a meeting with Assistant Commissioner Revenue Rafiq Ahmed Jaral; Executive Engineer PMGSY Ajay Kapahiand and other officers to discuss the disbursement of compensation for the structures removed for execution of PMGSY projects.
The Chairperson District Development Council took detailed review of the pending payments and the compensation disbursed during the last one year in the District. He particularly sought status of the disbursement of compensation to the owners of the structures coming under alignment of Garhi to Gatyal (Jib-Thathi) road for which Rs. 60.19 Lakh has already been released by the UT Govt.
District Officers present in the meeting submitted the detailed status report. Chairperson DDC urged them to immediately disburse the pending compensation so that the pending work was completed to enable the people to commute on the road in a hassle free manner.
