The District Development Commissioner (DDC), Shopian, Sachin Kumar Vaishya today conducted an extensive tour of Kapran Block of the district to take stock of developmental activities in the block.
He also inspected the progress of development works under execution in different villages. During his visit, the DDC inspected various ongoing works which include Passenger Shed at Wangam, Site for Playfield at Ray Kapran, Government High School Mantribugh and other developmental works.
During the tour of these areas, the DDC discussed the component wise projects proposed and revised Detailed Project Reports. He also inspected the feasibility of the project sites. DDC directed the concerned executing agencies to start the work on a war footing basis and ensure their completion within the stipulated time.
The DDC was accompanied by Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Shopian, Shahbaz Ahmed Bodha, BDO concerned, AEE and other officers.
