Showing solidarity with Punjabis struck and kidnapped in turmoil hit Iraq, Punjab BJP chief Kamal Sharma has stated that NDA government at the Centre is making all out efforts to ensure the safe return of the Indians working in Iraq.In a statement released from party office sharma expressed pleasure over the diplomatic efforts made by the Indian Government to bring back Indians from Iraq, he said that the Punjab Government is also in regular touch with the Union External Affairs Ministry and is taking minute-to- minute details of the development about the happenings in civil war hit Iraq.
“I myself have spoken to the central leadership over the matter and she has assured me that Indian Government will not leave any stone unturned to bring back our natives from Iraq. The entire SAD-BJP Government led by Chief Minister Sardar Parkash Singh Badal is in close touch with the families of those who are struck in Iraq,” Sharma said.The BJP chief assured the families that they would be given all possible help by the state government in ensuring their safe return from Iraq.“The SAD-BJP Government today has already announced to bear all expenses in the return of Indians struck there. In future as well, whatever needed the state and the Central Government would continue to do so,” Sharma assured.Sharma said that the entire BJP pray to God for the safety and well- being of the Indians who are struck in Iraq and wish that almighty ensure their safe return to India.
