J&K Science Technology & Innovation Council, Department of S&T organised a series of Programmes including Science Model Exhibition, Poster making Competition, Painting Competition in different Government Institutions in the past one week.
The competitions were held in Government Higher Sec School Tikri, Garhi and Jaganoo Udhampur witnessing participation of over 700 students. In continuation to these activities, an award ceremony was organized today at Government Higher Sec School, Tikri to felicitate the winning students.
The Principal of the Host school, Romesh Singh, in his welcome address hailed the department of science and Technology for engaging the students in progressive activities and hoped that it would continue to do so in future as well.
District Co-ordinator, Science and Technology Department, Udhampur, Shruti Khanna, in her address focused on initiatives taken by the department in engaging the student community in different Science activities to enable them to enrich Scientific Knowledge at an enhanced level.
The awardees of Science working models, Painting Competition and Symposium were given mementos and certificates by the District Co-ordinator.
