Vikas Kundal, District Development Commissioner Rajouri today reviewed the progress of the Health Sector projects taken up under District Capex Budget and other schemes. During the meeting, the DDC sought a detailed report from the concerned officers regarding the physical and financial achievements of the department under District Capex Budget and other schemes. 

The concerned officers apprised the meeting about to date status in this regard. While reviewing the financial progress, it was informed that against the release of Rs 9.66 crore for the creation of Health infrastructure, an expenditure of Rs 5.32 crores has been incurred till date.

Speaking at the meeting, the DDC exhorted to mobilize men and machinery for the completion of the works in the stipulated time frame. He also urged to ensure productive and fruitful utilization of the available resources.

Stress was also laid on maintaining quality while executing the work on the projects. The DDC made it clear that no laxity would be tolerated in this regard. Threadbare discussion was held on land issues for developmental works most of them were resolved in the meeting.

While taking note of the other issues impeding execution of developmental works, the DDC asked the concerned officers to bring such issues into the notice of the District Administration or concerned ADCs so that the same can be resolved in time for larger public interest.

He also asked for joint visits by the concerned officer from the Health Department, BDO and Sarpanch to the sites of execution to resolve the developmental bottlenecks.
