DC Rajouri Vikas Kundal reviews status of online services of Revenue Department

Deputy Commissioner Rajouri, Vikas Kundal today reviewed the status of online services being provided to the general public by the Revenue Department. During the meeting, Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Imran Rashid Kataria informed that out of 6246 online applications, as many as 4179 have been disposed of since the launch of online services.

Giving further details, he informed that 1962 character certificates, 258 income and asset certificates for economically weaker sections, 24313 income certificates, 158 marriage certificates, 1442 OBC/RBA/ALC/IB certificates, 166 legal heir certificates, 5052 Pahari speaking certificates, 142 property certificates etc have been issued to the public through online mode.

The DC exhorted the officers to work with zeal and dedication to provide the best services to the public and lessen  the hardships of the common masses. The DC also asked the concerned officers to ensure prompt disposal of online applications and warned of strict action in case of any laxity in this regard.

He also stressed the importance of conducting regular monthly meetings to discuss the issues and progress made under the online services. He also directed the revenue officers to educate the public about the online services of their department and motivate them to avail the benefits of the same.

The meeting was attended by ADC Nowshera, Kartar Singh; ADC Kalakote, Krishan Lal; ACR, Imran Rashid Kataria; Tehsildars; ADIO, Ashwini Sharma and Naib Tehsildars.
