Two biggies of the Punjabi industry are coming together to face a box office clash. We are talking about Diljit Dosanjh and Nimrat Khiara’s Jodi, while Dev Kharoud’s Blackia 2.
Yes, there will be a big box-office clash in 2023. Blackia 2 was announced a month back. The makers have shared both the poster and the motion poster for the film. And the motion poster is very impactful. The first part was touted as a crime drama, and the sequel also looks the same. Whereas Jodi is a musical drama that seems to be based on the lives of Amar Singh Chamkila and Amarjot Kaur.

Blackia 2
Navaniat Singh’s directorial Blackia has gained immense love and appreciation from the viewers. And now, after the success of the first instalment, the makers have announced the sequel to Blackia. Blackia 2, which features Dev Kharoud, is scheduled to hit theatres on May 5, 2023.
The film will be released by Ohri Productions. This sequel, Blackia 2, will be co-produced by Sarbpal Singh and Amritpal Singh. Moreover, the female lead actress has not been confirmed, but we hope the team will unwrap the information soon.
Jodi
Writer and director Amberdeep Singh has worked on this period drama. The film Jodi will also mark Nimrat Khaira and Diljit Dosanjh's on-screen appearance for the first time. Yes, the two will be sharing the big screens for the very first time. The film’s main USP is music, as it has been reported that Jodi consists of more than 15 songs. The film is slated to hit theatres on May 5, 2023.
