District Development Council Chairman, Chowdhary Naseem Liyaqat today visited Sokar Panchayat and inspected the progress of a number of developmental works being executed there.During the visit, the DDC Chairman inspected progress on works of PMGSY, Jal Shakti and PWD Sector including Rajouri-Khurad-Sokar road being constructed under PMGSY. 

He directed the Engineers to start the pending work on the road within one week.The DDC Chairman asked them to expedite the progress on the work(s) to ensure completion of the same within the set deadlines.

Stress was also laid on maintaining quality while executing the work on the projects. The DDC Chairman made it clear that no laxity would be tolerated in this regard. He also asked the officers to conduct regular field visits to monitor the progress on developmental works.

The Chairman also asked to bring in notice the developmental bottlenecks impeding the execution of works so that the same can be resolved in time in the larger public interest.
