A major case came to the notice of Haryana's Home and Health Minister Anil Vij today, under which a liquor business worth Rs 110 crore was being done by a liquor contractor in Panipat in the name of a driver and driver was implicated in the illegal liquor case itself.
When this matter came before Home Minister Anil Vij on Saturday, taking immediate cognizance in this matter, he directed the officers of Enforcement Directorate, DGP Haryana, Income Tax and Excise-Taxation Department to take strict action. Not only this, police protection was provided to the driver in Ambala on the directions of Home Minister Anil Vij and the police team from Panipat brought him back to Panipat late in the evening amid security.
Actually, Home and Health Minister Sh. Anil Vij had reached the PWD Rest House on Saturday. Although he did not organize Janata Darbar on Saturday, but despite this, hundreds of people reached the Rest House with their complaints, seeing the queues of the complainants, Minister Anil Vij started redressing to the problems of the people.
Meanwhile, a youth resident of village Josi in Panipat complained to Home Minister Anil Vij alleging that he used to work with a liquor contractor in Panipat on a monthly salary of Rs 15,000 and the liquor contractor did a business of Rs 110 crore in his name.
He came to know about this business when his name came in the illegal liquor case. It was his allegation that the police arrested him and later put him in jail. He gave proof of his innocence, but no one heard. He alleged that a big mafia is active in Panipat which is now behind him and no action is being taken on his complaint.

Taking immediate cognizance of the matter, Home Minister Anil Vij directed the Enforcement Directorate officers, apart from the DGP Haryana and the ACS of the Excise-Taxation Department, to take action in the matter.
He said that this matter is very serious and while calling SP Panipat on the spot to register the case, he also instructed to provide police protection to the complainant. A police team was called from Panipat in Ambala under whose security the complainant was taken back to Panipat late evening.
On the other hand, talking to media persons in this regard, Home Minister Anil Vij said that there was no Janta Darbar today, but a lot of people had come to the rest house and a person from Panipat complained that he was being given a salary of Rs 15,000 per month.
Hired as a driver and signed his signature and was running a liquor business worth Rs 110 crore in Panipat. This is a big disclosure against the liquor mafia and the officials have been directed to take action. No untoward incident should happen to the complainant, he will be taken to Panipat by providing security from Ambala itself.

While complaining to the Home Minister Anil Vij, the soldier who came from Rohtak said that the testimony of the murder case is going on in the land dispute, but the accused side is putting pressure on him by fighting and abusing him.
While listening to the soldier in this matter, Home Minister Anil Vij immediately called SP Rohtak and directed to investigate the matter by constituting SIT and also directed to provide police protection to the complainant. He said that neither justice will be allowed to be done to the soldiers.
Similarly, Home Minister Anil Vij directed the SP Sonepat to investigate the fraud case in Sonipat by constituting an SIT. At the same time, Home Minister Anil Vij directed SP Kurukshetra to form an SIT and investigate the case of fraud of lakhs of rupees in the name of sending abroad in Kurukshetra.
Minister Vij gave directions to take action on various other complaints in which included a resident of Karnal demanded action in the theft case, on which instructions were given to SP Karnal to take action.
Similarly, a person from Faridabad complained about land fraud case of 92 lakhs, Devendra resident of Kaithal complained that he was not allowed to vote, a person resident of Karnal honey trapped him and blackmailed him, a woman resident of Sonipat forcibly occupied the plot
A resident of Ambala city committed land fraud, a resident of Rewari committed land fraud, a resident of Kurukshetra attacked him, a resident of Kaithal attacked the accused by entering his house, an elderly resident of Palwal did not take action in the case of assault.
*In the matter of massaging of Aam Aadmi Party leader in jail, Minister Vij said, "The culture of Aam Aadmi Party is slowly being exposed"*
While talking to reporters during the listening to problems of people, Home Minister Anil Vij said on the issue of Aam Aadmi Party leader getting massage in jail, that 'the culture of Aam Aadmi Party is slowly being exposed'.
He said that he had come to power by giving such speeches and misleading the people. They himself is now showing his face. Vij said that the people of the jail administration must have been impressed by the Aam Aadmi Party, only then the massage would be happening inside.

Countering Congress's allegation of spreading fear and hatred against BJP, Home Minister Anil Vij said that BJP works for the happiness of all, Sabka Saath Sabka Vikas is our slogan. I don't understand from where Congress is seeing hatred, he said. Congress's own people are now leaving the Congress. Congress is now confined to one or two states, he added.
