The District Administration Kulgam today organized Mega Block Diwas in three blocks of the district viz. Devsar, Kulgam and D. H. Pora to take appraisal of the public issues, grievances and demands.On the occasion, Officers and officials from line departments listened to issues, grievances and demands of the public for timely redressal at all the three venues.
Meanwhile, to take first hand appraisal of public grievances and demands, the Additional Development Commissioner (ADC) Kulgam, Showkat Ahmad Rather remained available at Kulgam block where he listened to grievances and issues of people for redressal.
People from Liroo, Pombay, Kulgam, Kund, Watoo, Arreh, Bachroo and other villages participated in this grievances redressal camp at Kulgam and apprised the officers about their issues and grievances.Officers and officials from District Administration were also present during this block Diwas and responded to the grievances of the people.
At the outset ACD Kulgam Mohammad Imran Khan briefed about the action taken on the grievances which were flagged-off by the people during previous block diwas.Moreover, block diwas functions were also held at D. H. Pora and Devsar blocks where concerned officers listened to issues and grievances of people for timely redressal.
