The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Ganderbal, Shyambir today chaired the meeting of the Health department to review the various schemes under the National Health Mission in the district.On the occasion, an elaborated powerpoint presentation was delivered by Dr Afroza Shah, CMO Ganderbal presenting the status of various centrally sponsored NHM schemes and their current status.
The DC appreciated the efforts made by the NHM and laid stress on all the indices which need to be further improved upon for better patient care.He gave on-spot directions to all DDOs about the strict implementation of various target based programmes that have been highlighted in meetings.
The meeting was attended by CMO Ganderbal DrAfroza Shah along with Dy CMO, Medical Superintendents and Block Medical Officers took part. The meeting was also attended by DPMU Unit and BMPU units of the district along with officers/officials of CMO Office which are concerned with various NHM programmes.
