The Dept. of Food Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs (FCS&CA) in collaboration with District Administration Bandipora on Monday conducted a Consumer awareness Programme at meeting Hall MC Hajin. Assistant Director FCS&CA, Bilal Ahmad Najar presided over the programme.
The objective of the programme was to raise consumer awareness among the general public and PRIs.Awareness was provided about the rights of consumers, precautions to be taken while receiving cooking-gas from the distributors, labeling norms on the pre-packaged commodities, issues of maximum retail price, online shopping etc.The programme witnessed participation of a large number of people, students and PRIs.
