A Plantation drive, under J&K Green Drive, was conducted today by the Forest department to mark Children’s day here at Raja New Light High School Sunderbani. A number of Plants were planted by students to celebrate Children’s day. The plants were also distributed among the students.

Rangeel Singh, Block Forest Officer Sunderbani held a special counter in the premises of School from where the students collected plants of their choice.The School management lauded the efforts of the Forest Department for conducting such drives in the Schools.

Rakesh Verma, Range Forest Officer, Sunderbani said that such drives are conducted on special occasions to involve civil society in   planting a maximum number of plants.  The whole drive was conducted under the close supervision and directions of Vivek Verma, Conservator of Forests, West Circle Rajouri and   Neelima Shah, Divisional Forest Officer, Nowshera.
