If reports are to be believed, then Jagjeet Sandhu is bagging a role in John Abraham’s upcoming film ‘The Diplomat’. The film's shooting has already commenced, and Jagjeet Sandhu is said to be playing an antagonist in the film. We have seen Sandhu as a versatile actor. Be it a chocolate boy, a villainous role, or a funny character, Jagjeet knows how to do everything perfectly.

Meanwhile, ‘The Diplomat’ is reportedly directed by Shivam Nair, who has also helmed films like Special Ops and Naam Shabana (2017). The shooting started a few days ago in Chandigarh, where a major Pakistani city has been recreated. It was written by popular screenwriter Ritesh Shah, and it is produced by Fortune Pictures in collaboration with Wakaao Films and T Series.
However, speaking of the story, the account of Uzma Ahmed, an Indian national who was coerced into marrying Tahir Ali, a Pakistani national, in Pakistan under threat of violence, is told in The Diplomat. Sushma Swaraj, the minister for external affairs, decided to arrange for her to return home.
