NSS and NCC wings of the Government College for Women (GCW) Udhampur, under the guidance of Principal of the college Dr. Monika Sharma, today organised unique activities to inscribe a gesture of Happiness on the College campus under the aegis of B2V phase IV.

The NSS Volunteers & NCC cadets of the College painted the logos of the College, NSS and NCC on the slanting space and College play ground. The logos were painted with a white base. The Volunteers also painted the letters- My College My Pride- on the vacant area.

Similarly, under the idea of 'Best out of waste' one segment of the front lawn was given a cafe look as the volunteers hung certain ornaments made out of waste and the same was designated as the Selfish Point of the day. Volunteers also made flower beds and painted tree stems.

The programme was coordinated by Dr Kamaldeep Kaur, ANO NCC and Prof Sumita Rao and Prof Sanjay Kumar (NSS Program Officers).The last session was also graced by the presence of Prof Kewal Kumar, senior most faculty member, Dr Arun Kumar, Prof Rajiv Singh, Prof Mushtq Ahmed.
