The second round of the mega public outreach programme Back to village edition 4 concluded successfully today here in District Kishtwar under the Overall supervision of Deputy Commissioner, Dr Devansh Yadav.

The Visiting officers were overwhelmingly welcomed by people of 52 Panchayats as the programme witnessed huge participation of people from all walks of life across the district.The PRIs and locals put forth their issues and grievances which were recorded by the respective VO for further redressal.

The visiting officers will be mentors for the B2V4 Panchayats for a period of one year and will monitor the progress in the implementation of beneficiary schemes and ongoing developmental works, besides ensuring the  redressal of  the grievances projected by the people of the Panchayat.

Deputy Commissioner, Dr Devansh Yadav presided over the Special Gram Sabha here at Dharbadan Panchayat of block Thakrie.BDC chairman Thakrie, Kishori Lal Shan; Visiting Officer, Jankar Nath; BDO Thakrie, Tasleem Wani besides PRIs, field functionaries of the line departments and locals were present in the Programmes.

The DC urged the people to participate in the ongoing Back to village programme meant to assess the developmental achievements projected during previous B2V programs.He said that the main aim of B2V4 was to give a flip to the developmental tempo in the rural areas.

During the Special Gram Sabha, the Gram Panchayat Development plan ,GPDP 2023-24 was given a final touch in presence of DC , locals and PRIs.Later, the DC, in presence of BDC chairman, Visiting officer and BDO Thakrie and locals inaugurated Rural Haat established by Women SHG members in collaboration with RDD, Thakrie.

Dr Devansh also inspected the local exhibits displayed at Rural Haat, besides interacted with SHG members and assured to extend every possible help to them under women self employment schemes.DC Kishtwar also dedicated Disaster Management kit to the panchayat and briefed them about its importance and usage.

Later, he distributed Land passbooks among the legal owners under the digitization of Land record initiative.En-route, he also visited GHSS Filler and inspected the functioning of the school, including Laboratories, computer lab and library.

While reviewing the functioning of school, he interacted with the staff members and the students and enquired about their grievances and took stock of learning outcomes.He stressed on ensuring the implementation of BAS, and maintaining the cleanliness in the school.

Meanwhile, ADDC Kishtwar, alongwith JD-planning Mohammad Iqbal and BDO Kishtwar Sheetal Sharma  conducted a whirlwind tour of adjoining Panchayats  of Kishtwar town and took stock of ongoing Back to village programme at various places including the Panchayt Hidyal and Panchayt poochal A1.

The ADDC distributed land passbooks under Apki Zameen Apki Nigrani in the distribution camps organised under B2V4 among the beneficiaries of these Panchayats besides listening to the grievances of people.

He also inspected GMS Matta and interacted with students and listened to their grievances related to education.Earlier, he also interacted with a group of students from GDC Kishtwar who had come to spread awareness among local Youth about the self employment schemes and Nasha Mukht JK Abhiyan.

Other officers of district administration including ACD, DPO, DSWO,ALC also visited different Panchayats & conducted  Bal Sabhas and awareness camps.Visiting Officer, Special Secretary Labour and Employment Department Roshan Lal supervised the activities under B2V4 at Panchayat Matta-A Block Kishtwar.

Visiting Officer, Abhishek Sharma conducted scheduled activities in Agral Panchayat of Block Trigam.During the 2nd phase an array of activities were conducted across 52 Panchayats of the district. The Visiting Officers held public interactions, conducted Gram Sabhas, Bal sabhas, awareness camps for CSS and Poshan Abhiyan, Mutation Camps, distribution of land Passbooks, soil health cards, Disaster Management Kits, agriculture seed balls, Sports kits,  Preparation of list of 15 unemployed youth for self employment schemes in each panchayat, Inspection of developmental works, PMAY houses, IHHL units, jkbank, Khidmat centres, AWCs, HWCs, Schools, Panchayat secretariats, installation of complaint boxes, checking of MDM, Inauguration of Kindergarten, Rural Haat, different works and passenger sheds completed under B2V3, establishment of Senior Citizens club, pledges on water conservation, Nasha Mukht Bharat, Beti Bachao Beti Padhao, Swachhata and National unity, Social audit of CSC, organising cultural items, painting competitions and talent hunt, inspection of Amrit Sarovar, inspection of panchayt Ghars, formation of senior citizen club and distribution of sports kits, registration camps organised for e-Shram and saturation of CSC golden cards, awareness on online services, inspection of ration depot, ICDS centres etc.

Besides, the Flagging off ceremony of the DDC funded ambulances was also held at the Panchayats of Chattroo.
