Dr. Sunil Gupta, DIG DKR Range Hqrs. Batote today chaired a crime review meeting at the Conference Hall of DPO Ramban.The meeting was attended by Mohita Sharma, SSP; Rajni Sharma, ASP; Pardeep Singh Sen, Dy.SP Hqrs; Nisar Ahmed Khoja, SDPO Banihal; Kewal Kishore, Dy.SP RPHQ Batote; Sr. PO Ajay Kumar and all SHOs of district Ramban.

During the meeting, Police Station wise crime figure was discussed with special focus on the pendency of under investigation cases and inquest proceedings keeping in view the ending of 3rd quarter of year 2022. 

Stress was given on NDPS, Bovine smuggling and ULAP cases. The DIG lauds the efforts of District Police in curbing the menace of bovine smugglers by registering a number of bovine smuggling cases during the period. 

Traffic regulation was also discussed as after eradication of Maitra Bridge, people are facing problems to move locally. The DIG also directed the officers to improve beat system to bring more work efficacy in Police functioning.Preparation for Police Martyrs Day was also discussed with SP Ramban.
