Prime Minister, Narendra Modi today released the 12th installment of Rs. 2000.00 directly into the Aadhar seeded accounts of PM KISAN beneficiaries in an online mode from Pusa, New Delhi.Accordingly, a function was organised by Agriculture department Shopian at Mini Secretariat, here in which a large number of farmers and PM KISAN Beneficiaries participated. 

CAO on the occasion informed that in Shopian, 23182 farmers have been registered under the scheme till date and an amount of Rs. 44.70 Crores have been disbursed so far.He said that 16417 farmers have done e-KYC (verified their Aadhar on PM KISAN Portal) till date and are eligible for 12th installment under the scheme. 

CAO asked PM KISAN beneficiaries of the district to get the e-KYC done from nearest CSC or from Agriculture office for availing the benefits under the scheme.The officers and officials besides a large number of farmers were present on the occasion.
