Career Counselling and Placement Cell of Padma Shri Padma Sachdev, Govt P.G college for Women, Gandhinagar, in collaboration with  NIIT-IFBI, today conducted placement/ selection drive for the Relationship Manager in ICICI Bank with a salary of Rs 2.45-3.1 lakh per Annum here on the College Campus.

In the beginning of the drive, Prof Rajni Kumari, Convenor, Career Counselling and Placement Cell welcomed the gathering and gave a short brief about the programme.Rajendra Jodha, Area Head, NIIT spoke about the need for training to join a bank and interacted with the students and spoke about the changing skill sets of a Bank Employee.

Prof Minu Mahajan, Principal of the College lauded the efforts of the committee and thanked the team from NIIT –IFBI for conducting this placement drive in the college to provide students with the recruitment opportunities.

Approximately 50 pass out and final Year students of Padma Shri Padma Sachdev, Govt. P.G College for Women, Gandhi Nagar, Jammu participated in the selection drive.As many as 31 students were shortlisted for the preliminary round. 

The shortlisted students will be tested at different levels before being absorbed as Relationship Managers by ICICI Bank.Rahul Sharma, Head, NIIT, Jammu was also present. The organizing committee comprised Dr Renu Rajput, Prof Malti Rajput, Prof Neelam Thapa, Prof Sugandha Mahajan and Prof Rajinder Kumar.
