The District Administration Bandipora today organised Sawach Bharat Diwas across District Bandipora.The cleanliness and sanitation drives were held across the district Bandipora. DDC members and PRIs participated in swachta cleanliness drives across the district.
At Watapora Vice Chairperson District Development Council Bandipora, Kousar Shafeeq joined the Swachta Cleanliness drive along with PRIs and officials.At Garoora DDC member Firdousa Akhtar participated in the cleanliness drive.
Similarly DDC member Arin, BDCs and PRIs participated in the sawachta campaign to make it a success.The DDC members and PRIs on the occasion urged general public to cooperate with administration for door to door collection of waste.
They appealed people to stop throwing waste on road side or in streams for maintaining the cleanliness of environment.Similar cleanliness drives and door to door collection of waste was kick-started in sub division Sumbal and Gurez.
