Speaking of the first part, Ni Main Sass Kuttni revolves around the story of a daughter-in-law and her mother-in-law. Much against the wishes of his controlling mother, a young medical intern plans to wed Sirat, a fellow medical student, with the assistance of the other family members. The mother devises strategies to make the life of her daughter-in-law miserable in order to vent her resentment over her son's choice. The twist is that this new bride is not like the weak daughters-in-law of the past and decides to play a prank on her saas and correct her in a cunningly subtle manner.
