A Teachers Conference was held today at Govt Degree College for Boys (GDC), Pulwama where students who qualified the recently declared NEET examination were felicitated.Deputy Commissioner (DC) Pulwama, Baseer ul Haq Choudhary presided over the function and interacted with students and teachers.

Addressing a huge gathering at the auditorium of GDC Pulwama, the DC said that Pulwama is synonymous with talent and excellence. He said that the youth of Pulwama have excelled in all fields like sports, medicine, entrepreneurship, scientific research etc.

He congratulated the qualifiers for qualifying the exam and scoring good ranks from Jammu and Kashmir and expected that they would inspire many other youth from the region to crack other prestigious exams in order to serve the society in the best possible way so that their energy would be utilized for the development of the nation.

The DC advised the students to stay focused in their resolve towards excellence and continue to be an inspiration for others. He added that the young toppers have brought laurels to the district besides their respective schools and areas.As many as 38 schools participated and 20 heads of institutions shared their success stories during the conference.

Meanwhile 23 students were felicitated who have cracked the NEET examination 2022 and principals, ZEOs and other staff members were also felicitated.The function was attended by Chief Education Officer Pulwama, Principals of Institutions, ZEOs and other concerned.
