The District Administration Kulgam today organized Mega Block Diwas in three blocks of the district viz. Devsar, Kulgam and D.H Pora to take appraisal of the public issues, grievances and demands.The grievance redressal programme witnessed overwhelming response of PRI representatives, local people who visited the programme places in large numbers to flag-off their issues, grievances and demands with the visiting Officers for redressal.

Meanwhile, to take first hand appraisal of public grievances and demands, the Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kulgam, Dr.Bilal Mohi-Ud-Din Bhat presided over grievance redressal camp at Kulgam.People from Kadder,  Pombay, Khrewan Chadder, Gopal pora, Danow, Sunigam, D.K.Marg, Gund, Matibug, Nadimarg, Tengsargam, Chader Naidpora, Bolso, Kund,  Arreh, mohdpora  and other areas participated in the grievance redressal camp and apprised the DC about their issues and grievances.

Raising demands with the chair, the visiting people demanded macadamization of Khrewan Chadder road, transportation facilities on Bugam to T. N. Pora, fencing of school at Brazloo Jaggir, playfield at Harwath besides others.Officers on the spot responded to the queries and demands of people pertaining to their departments.

The DC after giving patient hearing to the public addressed some of the immediate nature of grievances on the spot.Earlier, Assistant Commissioner Development (ACD), Kulgam, Mohmmad Imran Khan also briefed about the action taken on various grievances and issues raised in previous Block Diwas.Meanwhile grievances redressal camps were also held at Block Devsar and D. H. Pora where officers listened to and redressed the issues and grievances of people.
