The School of Journalism, Film and Creative Arts at Lovely Professional University (LPU) organized an enthralling language based "Hindi hain Hum” on the occasion of national ‘Hindi Diwas’. The celebration witnessed the elite presence of renowned authors, speakers and poets. 

The event mesmerized all students and staff members with an ancient storytelling art form ‘Dastangoi’. The story telling about “Rajkumari Chauboli” was applauded by all.The speakers highlighted that all languages are mothers to their respective followers, so one and all should respect all languages alike. 

All should learn other languages as well by heart to know more about other cultures and creeds. The day was very significant as the elite guest speakers included Muslim authorities on Hindi language also. Eminent among them were prominent scholars Mahmood Farooqui, Darain Sahidi, Syed Asghar Wajahat, Ashok Vajpeyi, Khushbir Singh Shad and more.

LPU Pro Chancellor Mrs Rashmi Mittal congratulated the organizers for their initiative for a national event. Commencing from a painting competition to essay writing and debate participation; LPU celebrated Hindi Diwas- 2022 with colourful celebrations all around the campus.
