Fulfilling the commitment of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann to enable youth of the state to earn their livelihood by creating maximum employment opportunities, Animal Husbandry, Fisheries & Dairy Development Minister Laljit Singh Bhullar, on Tuesday, handed over appointment letters to 68 Veterinary Inspectors during a brief ceremony here at Punjab Bhawan.

Congratulating the newly-inducted employees, the Animal Husbandry Minister exhorted them to work with utmost dedication and honesty. He said that the recruitment process of 148 veterinary inspectors in the department has been completed. 

68 candidates have been given appointment letters today, while 29 veterinary inspectors were received the same a few days ago. The remaining 

The cabinet minister said, the Mann government was committed to provide employment to the youth, adding that recently Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann has announced to regularize the services of 8736 teachers of the state. 

Apart from this, recruitment is going on in various departments. He informed that an advertisement is being issued soon for the recruitment of more veterinary inspectors and required staff in the animal husbandry department.

Meanwhile, Principal Secretary Mr. Vikas Pratap, while congratulating newly-appointed veterinary inspectors, encouraged them to work diligently in the department.

Joint Secretary Mr. Saktar Singh Ball, Director Animal Husbandry Dr.  Subhash Chander Goel and other officials were also present on this occasion.
