Cyber Jagrukta Club of Government College For Women Udhampur today observed Cyber Jagrukta Diwas and organized a lecture on the topic Cyber Crime and Challenges.The event was organized under the guidance of Principal Prof. (Dr.) Monika Sharma.The Principal of the College Prof. (Dr.) Monika Sharma appreciated and motivated the organizers to conduct such activities.
The motive of the lecture was to create awareness among the students related to cyber crime and its types. As many as forty three students attended the lecture. Welcome address was presented by Sarika Mahajan (Nodal officer) who briefed the students about the various online initiatives.
Arun Gupta (Librarian) GCW Udhampur was the resource person who shared very informative and valuable knowledge with the students regarding cyber crime and safety. He also shared some useful tips with the students by which they can safeguard themselves from various types of cyber crimes.The event was graced by Prof. (Dr.) Seema Sharma (HOD Dept of Music).
The vote of thanks was presented by Pooja Bharti (Assistant Professor). The event was organized by Sarika Mahajan (Assistant professor in Electronics), Mr. Jugal Kishore ( Assistant Professor in Mathematics), Paramjit Singh (H.O.D Dept. of Computer applications), Shama (Assistant Professor in Dogri) and Pooja Bharti (HOD Dept. Of Geography).
