Cultural Wing of Department of Information and Public Relations organized a cultural program at Ashoka High School Krishna Nagar Jammu, here today.In the program, Chairman of School, Kamal Gupta was the chief guest, while Principal of the school, Kamini Angral was guest of honour.

Artists of Cultural Wing, Jammu and students of the school presented a variety cultural show featuring Dogri, Hindi and Punjabi patriotic Songs and dance items which left the audience spellbound.Meanwhile, a symposium on environmental Pollution was organised by Cultural Unit Jammu at National Academy High School, Udhampur.

As many as 13 students participated in the event.Manya Bucha of class 10 secured first position, while Kanishtha Gupta and Divya Kotwal both of class 10th secured second and third positions respectively.  All the winners and participants were felicitated with prizes and certificates. 

The competition was judged by Vice Principal, Anukampa Sharma and Suresh Kumar Senior Cultural Assistant.While speaking on the occasion, Principal of the school, Nisha Sharma, advised the student audience to work towards lessening environmental pollution. 

She lauded the Cultural Wing of the Department of Information and Public Relations for organizing such a meaningful program to aware the future of the nation.Assistant Cultural Officer, Bal Krishan was also present on the occasion. The whole program was conducted under the supervision of Cultural Officer, Jammu, Parul Khajuria.
