The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Budgam, S F Hamid today visited the shrine of Sheikh-ul-Alam, Sheikh Nooruddin Noorani (RA) at Chrar-e-Sharief to take stock of developmental works there.During the visit, the DC inspected work progress on lawn development and tile works. He also inspected the work progress of under execution projects including development of Park, Children Park, UEED works, shopping complex and parking facility adjacent to the shrine.
The DC also took stock of progress of works of Khankah (Mosque) including pending rooftop works and directed that all pending works be completed within the stipulated time frame.He also gave instructions that the lawn development and tile works besides construction of Park within the shrine premises be completed during a period of 15 days.Instructions were given that the work process on all ongoing projects be expedited for speedy completion.
On the occasion, Locals including Auqaf committee members and traders raised their needs with the DC.Meanwhile, the DC along with other officers also visited the SDH Chrar-e-Sharief and inspected various wards and blocks to take on spot stock of the health care facilities.During inspection, the DC also interacted with a number of patients and attendants to enquire about facilities and treatment, availability and supply of free medicine being provided to patients at the hospital.
He stressed on providing better health care facilities including hassle-free distribution of free medicine to the patients.The DC was accompanied by ADDC Budgam, Dr. Akramullah Tak, SDM Chadoora, Tehsildar and officers from various engineering wings and other concerned officers and officials.
