Special training imparted to BLOs at Town Hall Anantnag

In pursuance to the directions of Election Commission of India, a special training for special summary revision of Photo Electoral Rolls for all BLOs and supervisors was today held at Town Hall, here.Accordingly, training was imparted to BLOs of 43 - Anantnag West and 44- Anantnag constituencies. 

During the training, the components of special summary revision schedule, new form 6, 6B, 7, 8, Garuda App, Aadhaar linkage with Epics, 100 percent photo coverage in Electoral Roll, PWDs marking, uploading of AMF/ EMF were discussed. 

Speaking on the occasion, the master trainers said that BLOs are the backbone of the process and have to ensure the correct uploading of the data of voters. The BLOs were given the training on how to make deletions, corrections, uploading etc. They were asked to make door to door surveys to ensure that every eligible person is enrolled and data uploaded.

It is worth mentioning here that the District Election Officer has devised a schedule for training of all BLOs of the District covering all 7 constituencies.The training sessions are being monitored by Dy District Election Officer, Anantnag who said that the main aim of organizing the training is to ensure the BLOs are comfortable with all aspects of data updation and related changes.The training session was attended by all the concerned BLOs, master trainers etc.
