District Development Commissioner Doda, Vishesh Paul Mahajan, today chaired a meeting of officers of Jal Shakti department here in the mini meeting hall of DC office complex and reviewed the progress of works approved under various heads.
Threadbare discussion was held with regard to physical and financial progress of the schemes approved under NABARD, NRDWP, Languishing, UT Capex, District Capex, ADP, besides took first hand appraisal of the schemes approved under JJM and their updated status including accord of AA, TS, tendering, allotment & execution on ground.
The DDC directed the planning section to give the work wise status of schemes including physical and financial progress division wise, besides directing the executing departments to expedite the physical and financial progress of the works entrusted to them under different schemes as per the deadline fixed in this regard.
With regard to the ongoing works of JJM in Gandoh area the DDC directed the Ex En to complete all the ongoing works in the first week of October, besides directed to complete the ongoing works of District plan by the end of this month.
The DDC also directed the SE Hydraulic to ensure that an emergency number is published outside the office of each office by tomorrow on priority basis, besides asked the department to revisit the works which are not feasible and to submit with reasonable justification, in addition to this directed to project the works in place of those which are not feasible in coordination with the PRIs.
Further the DDC directed the planning section to get the fortnightly progress from the department including physical and financial progress, besides Ex Ens were directed to pull up their field functionaries for timely completion of the projects.
Among others present in the meeting were SE Hydraulic, CPO Doda, Ex En I&FC Doda, Bhaderwah,Ex En Special Sub Division Gandoh, AD Planning DC office, besides AEEs were also present in the meeting.
