District Development Commissioner (DDC) Doda, Vishesh Paul Mahajan today chaired a meeting of the Power Development department here in his office chamber to review progress of PDD works taken up under District Capex Plan.
The DDC sought feedback on the works entrusted to them under District Capex regular component, Area Development Plan, status of tendering and allotment, physical and financial status, besides seeking explanation for non feasible works projected by the department.
The DDC directed the department to devise a pert chart of each work to assess the progress on a real time basis and timeline completion.The department was further asked to submit reasons for projecting unfeasible works and propose new works against the same in coordination with respective PRI members.
He directed to make judicious and optimal use of the funds released to them and also to ensure not a single penny was lapsed.Regarding the amount saved out of allotment and from the final expenditure, the DDC directed the PDD department to propose an additional work plan for the areas in dire need of augmentation of existing facilities.
The meeting was attended by SE JPDCL Kishtwar Circle, CPO Doda, Ex En ED Doda, AD Planning DC office, besides other concerned officials were also present in the meeting.
