The Directorate of Skill Development J&K and Industrial Association Lassipora Pulwama  (IALP) today held its first Industry Academia Meet at the Conference Hall of Industrial Growth Centre Lassipora, here.

The meeting was presided over by Sudershan Kumar, Director Skill Development, J&K along with the Officers of Department from both ITIs and Polytechnics.Besides the trainees from ITI Pulwama, who are presently undergoing on the job training also participated in the meeting, so as to have feedback from them.  

The delegation of the Industrial Association was led by Haji Muzzafar Ahmad, President Industrial Growth Centre Lassipora Pulwama.During the institute Industry interaction emphasis was laid on implementation of MOA to make it Trainee Centric.

Director Skill Development urged Industry Partners to come forward and have an alliance with the department, so that passed out candidates from the ITIs and Polytechnics are provided an opportunity to work under a conducive atmosphere and these passed out are in a position to earn their livelihood.

President Industrial Growth Centre Lassipora assured full cooperation both in terms of on the job training and placements of pass outs of Skill development department.The event concluded with a visit of Industrial Units by all the members along with the trainees so as to have first-hand information of the activities being carried out by these functional units.
