Regional Director Survey & Land Records reviews progress on digitization of Jamabandis in district Ramban

Regional Director, Survey and Land Records Udhampur- Reasi, Nawab Din, today convened a meeting of Revenue officers here in DC office Complex and reviewed the progress on digitisation of Jamabandi and other revenue records in the district.  

Additional Deputy Commissioner, Harbans Sharma; Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Gias–Ul-Haq; Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Viqar Giri; SDM Banihal, Zahir Abbas , Tehsildars, Naib Tehsildars and other concerned revenue officials attended the meeting.

During the meeting, the Director reviewed the status of scanning and digitisation of Jamabandies, besides checking the quality of digitization of records. The Director set the targets for all Tehsildars for completing digitization work of their respective tehsils and directed the ACR, SDMs and Tehsildars to ensure the quality check of the same.  

While addressing the revenue officers, the Director stressed upon the officers to speed up the pace of scanning of documents and digitization of the land records.Directing the concerned to follow the set guidelines and procedures while digitizing revenue records, the Director urged upon the officers to ensure completion of the assigned task within the fixed prescribed time.
