Atal Dulloo flags off mobile veterinary ambulance clinics

Additional Chief Secretary (ACS), Agriculture Production Department, Atal Dulloo flagged off a fleet of six Mobile Veterinary Ambulance Clinics (MVACs) here at a function organised at the office complex of Directorate of Animal Husbandry, Talab Tillo Jammu.

Speaking at the occasion, the ACS said that the mobile ambulance clinics have been purchased out of UT Capex and would provide improved veterinary healthcare services at the doorstep of farmers from remote regions of the UT.He informed that each mobile clinic is equipped with a doctor, a Para-Vet and a driver cum attendant besides availability of requisite medicines and surgical equipment necessary for undertaking on spot minor surgical procedures and minor treatments.

Director Animal Husbandry Jammu, Krishan Lal; Director Horticulture Jammu, Director Agriculture Jammu, Managing Director Agro-Industries Jammu, Joint Directors, Deputy Directors besides senior officers and staff of Directorate of Animal Husbandry Jammu were also present on the occasion.
